1. One of the most important factors that affect the magnetic separation effect of magnetic separator is the feed particle size of magnetic separation






For most ores, the size of feed particle indicates the degree of separation of ore monomer, that is, the degree of separation between magnetic ore particles and gangue particles. If the particle size of ore feeding is small, it means that the separation of mineral monomer is high, and satisfactory separation index can be obtained; if the particle size of ore feeding is relatively coarse, it means that the mineral is not fully dissociated, and the separation of monomer is not high, on the contrary, there are more intergrowth, that is, there are still considerable parts of magnetic particles combined with gangue. Because of the magnetic properties of lianshengti, a considerable part of lianshengti can be separated, which reduces the grade of concentrate. Therefore, it is required that the minerals fed into the magnetic separator should be fully separated from each other. For the coarse disseminated ore, as long as the mineral and gangue have achieved monomer separation, it is not necessarily too fine. Although the particle size of such ores is sometimes coarser, the dressing quality is not low. The main reason is that the disseminated particle size of ores is coarser, and the useful minerals and gangues are separated after grinding to a certain extent.






2. Pulp concentration is another important factor affecting the magnetic separation effect of magnetic separator, mainly refers to the overflow concentration of classifier.






If the pulp concentration is too high, the separation concentration will be too high, which will seriously affect the quality of concentrate. Because at this time, the concentrate particles are easily covered and wrapped by the finer gangue particles, and the separation can not be separated, so the grade will be reduced together. If the pulp concentration is too small, that is, the separation concentration is too low, the flow rate will increase and the separation interval will be shortened, so that some small magnetic particles that should have had a chance to come up will fall into the tailings, which will increase the grade of tailings and cause losses. Therefore, the pulp concentration should be adjusted according to the needs. The adjustment at the magnetic separator is mainly based on the size of the ore blowing water. However, the most important thing is that the overflow concentration should be adjusted according to the requirements of magnetic separation. The concentration of feed pulp should not exceed 35%, generally controlled at about 30%, which should be determined according to the actual situation.
